We set a new standard of water safety with our new 30ft Landing Craft operating from Telegraph Cove Resorts. We have operated our boat for the past four seasons in the waters within 80 miles of Telegraph Cove. We prefer small groups and cap our load at six passages, plus kayaks and gear. This boat is the only front loading vessel in the water taxi fleet in the north island and has proven to be a winner with passengers from near and far.
The addition of our 14 ft cabin has added a new dimension to our boat. Our carrying system allows us to load efficiently at both high and low tides. The racks are with padded with carpet and rollers for easy loading and unloading. We use only ropes to secure kayaks and have lots of deck space for personal gear. Our cabin accommodates all eighy guests in comfort and security with room for four more guests on deck. We are coast guard approved and do all loading with the help of guests.
Our boat is powered by twin Honda outboards to ensure a reliable and stable ride to your destination. The capacity of our boats is ten guests and eight double sea kayaks with gear. Floater suits are used on open water crossing and help keep guests warm when we stop for whale viewing.. Our vessel is equipped with a standard package of technology to ensure your safety while onboard. During transports we often stop to view whales or other types of wildlife if weather and conditions permit. However, arriving at the destination within the given time is also important. All bookings must be done previous to the transport dates. We operate one transport per group per day to ensure service and reliability. We reserve the right to alter transport cost due to increased costs on our end.
