Lodge Based Trips

"Accommodations were great, whales were fantastic and the hospitality that you showed us should not be kept a secret. We are sending our friends your way. Many, many thanks." - Jessica & Frank Todd, from Mobile, Alabama
We offer you three unique and flexibility options and use a support boat to put us at the same destinations as our four or six day sea kayak trips use. Each trip option offers a combination of experiences that will fulfill your personal expectations. Each of these lodge based adventures are described below, we invite you to stroll down this page.
Telegraph Cove Sea Kayaking Lodge
Based Sea Kayak Tour
Overview...
Not everybody interested in Orca whales enjoy camping in a tents. Our Lodge Based Trips are three days and three nights. We use our own shuttle boat. We give you a choice of single or double sea kayaks for each days paddling adventure. We are confident that each day we venture out during July and August we have the opportunity of viewing orca, humpback and minke whales. Often we view sealions, harbour porpoise and on occasion black bears along the shoreline.
Each day the weather and the wildlife will combine to offer us an experience that you can only get during the summers in these pristine waters. Each day eagles, harbour seals, and otter are seen at close range.

Because each day is valuable we monitor the movement of the salmon to ensure that we do not miss any wildlife experience that might occur. We paddle along rugged shorelines visiting secluded beaches and hike to vantage points for some awesome views.
These locations are selected to give us the greatest opportunity to see resident Orca in their natural habitat. Often if we are fortunate enough we could not only observe the passage of the Orca but perhaps observe them socializing and playing.
